And the Preparations Begin…

Easter dinner party beginning at 4PM with wine and appetizers, dinner to follow. But, before the guests begin to fill the house, preparations must be made and today is cheesecake day! I am heading over to N’s house this morning with a bag of groceries to make ricotta cheesecake, just one of the desserts we will be having on Sunday. The cheesecake will be matched by a freshly made strawberry shortcake out of the oven just in time for serving and dolloped with freshly whipped cream.
Oh, isn’t there an entire meal to be enjoyed before we get to dessert? Yes indeed! But more on that later. Time to make the cheesecake!
