Snow is in the forecast…in fact, some still sits on my deck from the little teaser storm we had last night.  Later this evening, we are expected to get up to 8 inches of snow which just might be enough to actually have a day off from school.

That would be our first day off due to weather and would be a test to our phone notification system and whether or not our families watch the news or listen to the radio to see if we are closed.  Normally the school gets flooded with calls which go unanswered because there is no one there to answer the phones!

I know my staff will enjoy the day.

Today was spent at the gym for some of the morning and then home working on teacher performance evaluations.  A tedious task they are, I need to start on them before I leave next week for Orlando since I plan to bring a minimal amount of work with me to Florida.  While there, LC and I will be going to some of the Disney parks (not sure which ones yet) and plan to spend some time at Universal Studios since neither of us have ever been there before.  I am excited about the trip – or any trip! – because I love to travel.

The rest of today is going to be quiet, home with this stack of evaluations to my left and a hot cup of tea to my right…and directly in front of me is a warm, roaring fire.  How bad can that be?  I would love more of this tomorrow, so let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
