Other Duties as Required

That is the tricky phrase in any employment contract.  I am a school administrator.  That is a given, the most obvious role I play in the school…but that also entails being a janitor, maintenance person, counselor, referee, and, today, food server.  I figured that since my cafeteria worker had called out sick today  and there is no substitute trained for this role, I was going to take the responsibility and run with it.  And might I add that I was probably the best dressed cafeteria worker in the nation today – complete with hair net!

Hair Net and All! by you.

Given the staffing issues today, I did not make it to the workshop I had planned on attending – something I am kind of bummed about.  Not just for the free lunch, but the networking opportunity and great ideas that would be shared during the training.  Oh well, maybe another time.

Don’t be jealous of my flowing locks that I intentionally choose to keep short!
