Thank God I’m Bowling!

After a long week (and I mean LONG!) I planned a bowling trip for my faculty and staff after a professional development workshop I led on Friday.  We met at the bowling alley, Lucky Strikes, which is in Chinatown a few short blocks from our campus.  It was lots of fun…and certainly needed!  The social component was the best part about it since only one rule was being enforced: no talk about school!

Spouses and significant others also joined the group for bowling and drinks which added another layer to the event since most of the teachers had not met or had a chance to speak with their coworkers’ spouses and significant others and that was something nice to see and special for those who had their other half with them.
