The last two days have been music-filled.  Well, not really.  My computer is being filled with music as I have spent hour after hour loading Cd’s into my laptop so I can then update my ipod.  For a long time now I have kept my music on the Cd’s I bought over the years, but when I got my first ipod as an anniversary present I had to begin the task of transferring it all.  I finally dedicated this weekend to it since there was nothing pressing on my calendar and I could load each CD in between house chores.  It took much longer than I expected and helped me realize how bored I was this weekend!!

No visitors, phone calls, texts, or e-mails all day Saturday made the house quiet.  Nope, none of these things occurred.  The house was very quiet, among other things.

Anyway.

I never realized how many cd’s I actually had.  Granted, I might not have the most consistent taste in music as it ranges from soundtracks to pop to hip hop and classical to religious and meditative.  It is all going in the computer since it does, to an extent, represent my diverse musical taste.  I consider my taste in music quite eclectic and rarely pass judgment on another person’s taste.  The only thing I strongly prefer is to have some high-energy music playing while I drive, especially long distances, because it keeps me alert and the last thing I want to do is get into a relaxed state while driving on the highway.  That could be a challenge…and has been in the past.  When I go on long driving trips the music I choose to bring with me is pretty particular.  Now that all of this music is soon to be loaded on my ipod it won’t be a challenge when I go anywhere because all of the music will be at my fingertips.

Given the music I am loading into the ipod now, I’m not sure if that is a good or a bad thing.
