I am on the way to Atlantic City to start what will be an extended weekend, and an interesting one at that. Wednesday and Thursday in Atlantic City, Friday through Tuesday in Cambridge. The conference I am presenting at is of no real draw for me, so the presentation I am giving on Thursday will be my focus and then I am out and driving north first thing in the morning to be in Cambridge by lunch time and avoid driving all day. I was originally going to try and arrive by early afternoon, like 2pm, but I think the earlier the better since I now have some shopping that needs to be done for a Filipino potluck dinner scheduled for Monday night. Fun.

I am going to try and finish the book I started this week during the down time I will have on this trip all weekend, something to take my mind off of school while I am away and give me a way to be productive as well. I can’t forget to run, either! I have my running gear packed and will try to get a run or two in AC and Cambridge since my next run is quickly approaching….19 days at the time of this blog entry.

And so my extra long weekend begins.
