Give Me a Kiss

Tonight, we are going to see Kiss of the Spider Woman at the Signature Theatre in Arlington. This will be my first time seeing this particular show and seeing a show at this particular venue as well. Double fun! I am picking T up at the airport this afternoon and we will make our way back to the house for a light evening meal before heading out to see the show. I am excited about a number of things…yes, the show and the theatre, and seeing T…what a great way to end what felt like a long week. The warmer weather for me makes the days at school drag on because energy gets low as the calendar countdown begins for the graduating seniors and anxious staff! I must somehow find the enthusiasm within me on the longest of days to help motivate some of the dreary staff…and today we are expecting temperatures over eighty (80!) degrees. Students can wear shorts, but I can’t…where is the equality in this?
OK, back to the stage…it just happens to be closing weekend so T and I were able to grab some tickets a month or so ago and I look forward to a solid performance as the show runs almost three hours. Yes, a three hour tour…a three hour tour. Hopefully we will arrive at the theatre early enough to take a walk around and grab a sweet snack before the show. On a beautiful Friday evening, there is sure to be a crowd enjoying the sights and scenes of what the area has to offer…and that I cannot speak to since I’ve never been there. Maybe I should hold off on saying that for now.
Be assured that I will have a follow-up to talk about the show and our night which begins, for us, an event-filled weekend. Let the fun begin…with a kiss!
