I am so ready for this weekend!  Even though the weekend will be just as busy as this past week, I should be able to do some of the things that I have been putting off for a while.  Not sure what the lack of energy is about, or lack of motivation.  The things on my task list are not options so they will all have to be “checked off” rather soon.  Some of those tasks involve outdoor house maintenance, like leaf raking and branch clearing from the surrounding trees.  Other tasks involve interior spring cleaning and some organizational pieces that will make life easier in the long run.  I know it will all get done as I move through the list and I think I’ll start with the basket of clean laundry sitting next to me as I type this…folding time tonight, I suppose!

For the last few days the rain has been falling and today we actually had a bit of hail.  The forecast calls for rain all through the weekend and, although I like the rain, sometimes there can be just a bit too much, ya know?  After work today I met MD for sushi at Tako Grill in Bethesda.   He was in that area getting a haircut and need to talk once again.  I braved the traffic and rain for this meal that just happened to be quite brief.  Through the meal MD kept texting and seemed distracted.  As soon as we were done eating, he got up and I just followed out the door and to the jeep for a long ride home in what felt like endless traffic.  I think it would have been better staying home and ordering a pizza!

Arriving back home, I sit now on the couch and look forward to tomorrow as it will officially start a weekend of work – work that will ultimately bring about a cleaner house, folded laundry, filed papers, and a fresh start to the upcoming week.  How is that for a positive outlook!
