Hello world!

me black and whiteI would like to welcome everyone to my blog!  Well, after much prodding from people…ok, no prodding, just blog envy, I decided to begin a blog and join the technological advancement.  I guess typing a page and posting it on my house door is not an effective method of communication.  Ok, I’ll take the blame for that.  At least you cannot say that I am not making an effort, right?  =)

I guess I could say that T is the one who really inspires me to blog.  I have been reading his blog, searching archives (ok, sounds like a stalker issue, but he knows about this!) and getting the desire within to share my thoughts and feelings, as well as events that take place in my life.  In reality, what a great way to keep everyone in my life, and those guests who ‘wander’ onto my site, informed and up to date with what is going on.

What is going on?  Well, I would probably say that there is not enough space to catch you up on the 32 (gasp!) years of life I have lived without a blog.  You most likely do not have enough time to read the marvelous adventures of JC (me) and my efforts at fighting crime in the nation’s capitol.  But, here is a quick recap…

Scorpio by birth; Youngest of three children; Italian heritage; Did my time in a seminary; B.A. from LaSalle University, Philadelphia; M.A. from The Catholic University of America, Washington, DC; Teacher by trade; Principal by choice; Police Officer by design; Gay and taken; Partnered with a wonderful man named T; Living in Maryland; No kids (yet!)…

I’m sure you can use all of your knowledge of soap operas and Lifetime made-for-tv movies to fill in the gaps, but this is a pretty good foundation for you to catch a brief glimpse into the past to see behind the words that will find their resting place on this page.

Welcome to the blogging world! I’ve always known that you are a better (read: more cheezy) writer than I am. But I do love reading your stuff and it’s good that others will be able to appreciate it. (But then, I may be biased.) I’m looking forward to more!
